Decyfer Down

Hey guys -

I'm writing this from Washington DC where I'm visiting my family ....it's pretty cold up here! Its definitely not 70 degrees like NC!

I want to first say how much we in DD appreciate you!! Lately I have received several emails expressing how difficult this past year has been. We in DD want to encourage you by saying you are not alone in the struggles and issues you are facing. Rest assured that God has a definite plan and He is engineering a great future and a hope for you. (Jer. 29:11-13)

During this Christmas Season I know that some of you have lost someone close and dear to you, and it may be very difficult to go through such a joyful season. I pray that you will use every opportunity to celebrate that person's life by loving and serving others by filling a need in someone's life as a friend or a compassionate stranger. Random acts of kindness in this coming year such as sharing a meal, giving gifts, visiting the lonely and by even mentoring a child can celebrate the life and memory of your loved ones.

I am very excited about the coming year in finally getting the new album out and touring this spring. We look forward to continuing our friendship with each of you and we cherish the opportunity to bring music to you that will make a difference in your life.

So as I sit here and think of how to close this blog... I hear the lyric of a old favorite Christmas song......."and so, I'm offering this simple prayer for kids from one to ninety-two... Although its been said many times, many ways, Merry Christmas to you!"
